To all new artists beware!!!!

Never let record labels push you around, you need to be self taught, you need to know it is a legal game and don't be threatened or slandered by anyone. This happened to me not so long ago. A year ago about i started talking to a C.E.O of Alpha Records out of Detroit Michigan. Nerve Damage he stated that i could join Alpha Wolf Records in of which he sent me a contract via email. I digitally signed the contract and emailed it back. After going down there and meeting the team i thought i was apart of i thought i was apart of Alpha Wolf Records in of which now they say i  wasnt because i made up my own contract signed it then sent it to them. I have all Records that proof they sent me the false contract. That wasnt what upset me though They also said i was using there name and making them look bad basically and i wasnt suppose to use their name. I thought i was apart of a team and again in records i have proof of Nerve Damage stating i could say im Alpha Wolf.. Then to come and find out they had a team of People Write up nasty Blogs about me slandering my name and trying to ruin my good image all because of an online battle where i was defending myself from the bullcrap of which they were stating. I could take it to court but im not.. I can forgive in which i have... but I will never forget. It was a lesson learned. Make sure that you have everything you do business wise recorded, even your radio interviews whatever... Make sure you have all proof if needed and a business attorney before signing a contract. Do research upon the company that you are interested in, Google them. I just dont want what happened to me to happen to you. Independent is the way to go unless you get a really good oppertunity.
